I created The Written Voice to reach clients who have difficulty putting their voice into writing, or who don’t have the time, patience, confidence, desire and/or inspiration to write content.

I am an experienced writer who likes to connect through curiosity. I ask lots of questions, listen, ask more questions and keep listening. I’m curious about you, your voice, and the voice you want to portray in written content . . . your passion, your message, your story. Or, the voice that expresses the simple need for a good writer, editor or proofreader for your project.

I have been a successful content writer for 10+ years, primarily in a senior communications role in a high-profile, public environment. This is where I developed my writing style that focuses on capturing the voice of the author, speaker, blogger or organization. And, where I was required to write content for a variety of platforms under tight deadlines, with extreme accuracy, and subject to a high level of public and media exposure.

Now, I’m happy to be writing on my own, guided by your voice. I enjoy writing, editing and proofreading a wide variety of content – bios, speeches, blogs, press releases, articles, social media and web posts, promotional and event materials, publications, etc. – while also providing strategic guidance through the process. I especially love interviewing, promoting and connecting people along the way.

You can read how I started The Written Voice with my story as told by AARP – https://workforyourself.aarpfoundation.org/success-stories/the-confidence-to-try/. I will be posting more about my work soon through my upcoming blog, client testimonials and more.

So, here is my first curious question to you . . . how can I help you find and share your written voice?

Now it’s your turn. Ask away . . . I look forward to your questions!
